Federal Privacy Act 

Baywood Animal Hospital has a Privacy Policy in accordance with PIPEDA - Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. Privacy of personal information is an important principle to Baywood Animal Hospital. We are committed to collecting, using and disclosing personal information responsibly and only to the extent necessary for the goods and services we provide. We also try to be open and transparent as to how we handle personal information. This document describes our privacy policies. THE Personal Information Protection and Electronics Act ( "PIPEDA") is federal legislation which came into effect on January 1st, 2004. Baywood Animal Hospital complies with PIPEDA and is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all individuals, including clients, and employees, by ensuring that their personal information is collected used and disclosed in an appropriate manner. Baywood Animal Hospital collects personal information about its clients for purposes of effectively communicating with, and providing veterinary medical services to, its clients. Baywood Animal Hospital also collects personal information about its employees for purposes of personal management and administration. The principles established in the personal information policy of Baywood Animal Hospital conform to the fundamental requirements with PIPEDA. This personal information policy may be amended if the province of Ontario enacts privacy legislation in the future, to ensure that this policy conforms to such legislation.
